The aim is to get a more complete view of the patient, integrating patient information into electronic health records by making the MyChart tool more easily accessible through smartphone applications.

Winners of the 2017 On My Own Time art show

More than 50 artists who are part of the UT Southwestern Medical Center community were recognized recently at the 15th Annual “On My Own Time” reception, held at the A.W. Harris Faculty and Alumni Center on the South Campus.

“My son was a miracle when he was born and his life ended making miracles for others,” Vicky Blair said of her 17-year-old son, Shon, who lost his life in 2014.

“I was 17 and my first job was restocking supplies for Central Sterile Supply, Surgery, and the Emergency Department."

“This issue comes up all the time in my practice,” said Dr. David Gerber , who treats lung cancer patients and is a Professor of Internal Medicine and Population and Data Sciences. He is one of the study’s authors and has been studying clinical trial eligibility criteria for a decade.
