UT Southwestern medical students reflect on how their experiences in community health activities will benefit their careers.

The Community Medicine Unit is dedicated to preventing and reducing the disproportionate burden of disease affecting vulnerable communities.

The UT Southwestern community prepares to celebrate this year’s graduating students from the UTSW Medical School and Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. A commencement recognizing the Medical School’s 228 graduates will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 8 in the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center. On Thursday, May 16, Graduate School students will receive their degrees in the Tom and Lula Gooch Auditorium at a 7 p.m. commencement.

STARS provides a number of learning and enrichment opportunities for secondary science teachers and their students. STARS programs are free of charge.
