When a UT Southwestern employee runs into a problem at work, Dr. James Scott, the recently appointed Director of Service Systems, wants to make finding a solution easy. One of Dr. Scott’s responsibilities in the newly created position is overseeing upgrades to ServiceNow, the online tool that enables employees to make service requests to various departments, such as Information Resources, Human Resources, or Parking Services.

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Division of Breast Imaging invited the UT Southwestern community to submit decorated bras as part of its 10th annual Bra Decorating Contest. The goal of this annual campaign is to generate awareness, early detection, and screening of breast cancer.

Dr. Willis Crocker Maddrey, an accomplished academic and clinical leader at UT Southwestern for three decades, has been named Professor Emeritus of Internal Medicine. Recognized as one of the world’s leading authorities on liver disease, he has also served with distinction in the Medical Center’s administration as Special Assistant to the President for the past 11 years.

UT Southwestern's New Faculty Research Forum has brought together early-career scientists in the spirit of collaboration for 20 years. The 2025 forum, scheduled Oct. 14 at the T. Boone Pickens Conference Center, will introduce 14 UTSW researchers representing 10 departments and two schools to the campus community.
