Dr. Sharon Reimold, Vice Chair for Clinical Operations and Faculty Development in the Department of Internal Medicine, received the Women in Cardiology Mentoring Award at the American Heart Association’s (AHA) Scientific Sessions conference Nov. 16.

Associate Professor of Psychiatry Dr. Molly Camp and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry Dr. Adriane dela Cruz recently received Faculty Innovation in Education Awards from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology Inc.

UT Southwestern’s Kidney Cancer Program (KCP) and Simulation Center have been named finalists in D CEO and Dallas Innovates’ inaugural Innovation Awards honoring companies, entrepreneurs, and other leaders in North Texas. The KCP is one of five finalists in the Innovation in Healthcare category, and the Sim Center is among five Innovation in Education finalists.

Dec. 3, 2019, marks #GivingTuesday, an international campaign to encourage charitable donations. UT Southwestern’s Office of Development and Alumni Relations is using the day as a platform to encourage alumni scholarship giving.

UT Southwestern Nobel Laureates Drs. Michael S. Brown and Joseph L. Goldstein have been selected as 2019 fellows of the National Academy of Inventors (NAI).

Danchees Ingram, Associate Director in UT Southwestern’s Office of Student Financial Aid, was recently awarded the prestigious Trailblazer Award by the Texas Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (TASFAA) at its annual conference in Fort Worth.

Dr. Jon Williamson, Professor and Dean of the UT Southwestern School of Health Professions, has been inducted as a Fellow of the Association of Schools Advancing Health Professions (ASAHP). The honor recognizes his long-term contributions to the organization and to health professions.

Dr. Lynne M. Kirk, Professor Emeritus of Internal Medicine and Family and Community Medicine, has been awarded the Alfred Stengel Memorial Award by the American College of Physicians (ACP), a national organization of internists.
