Haase, M.D. Professor of Medicine Division of Nephrology Vanderbilt University Medical Center About Volker Haase: Dr. Haase completed his medical education at Johann Wolfgang Goethe Universitat Frankfurt am Main and a research fellowship in molecular genetics at Massachusetts General Hospital. He then received internal medicine residency training at Emory University, followed by a clinical fellowship in nephrology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and training in experimental biology and genome editing at the Whitehead Institute of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
