"Basic Science Limited Submission Opportunities for Early Career Scientists" Speaker: Russell DeBose-Boyd, Ph.D. Professor of Molecular Genetics Assistant Dean for Research Advancement UT Southwestern Medical Center About Russell De-Bose-Boyd: Dr. DeBose-Boyd holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He earned his doctoral degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and then embarked on postdoctoral research in the laboratory of Joseph Goldstein, M.D., and Michael Brown, M.D. He joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2003. He has been named an Established Investigator of the American Heart Association, a W.M.
