"Sexuality in Women with Cancer: Between Voice and Silence" Speaker: Nusrat Jahan, M.D. Assistant Professor of Medicine Division of Hematology & Oncology University of Alabama at Birmingham About Nusrat Jahan: Dr. Jahan received her medical education at Dhaka Medical College in Bangladesh, and completed internal medicine residency training at Michigan State University in Flint. She then obtained advanced training through fellowships in hematology and oncology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock and in breast oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Jahan’s research focuses on advancing precision‑based care for breast cancer through the development and evaluation of novel therapeutics, including targeted agents, antibody–drug conjugates, immunotherapy combinations, and endocrine resistance strategies, as reflected in her leadership across multiple phase 1–3 clinical trials and translational studies.
