This course is designed to bring cutting-edge basic and clinical research findings to both the practicing general ophthalmologist and subspecialist in all fields of ophthalmology. The course addresses the seven subspecialty areas of ophthalmology: cornea and external disease, retina and vitreous surgery, pediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology, ophthalmic plastic surgery, ophthalmic pathology, and glaucoma. He then obtained advanced training through a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. A nationally recognized leader in adult congenital heart disease, Dr. Landzberg has spent more than three decades shaping care for patients once thought unlikely to reach adulthood.
