Take a step to support the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation by joining the UT Southwestern team for the Take Steps Walk on Saturday, May 16. UTSW is sponsoring this year’s Take Steps to support the Foundation, which helps accelerate research, advance treatments, and provide education and support programs to improve quality of life for patients living with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) – with an ultimate goal of curing Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Take Steps includes 1 mile and 5K options. Held at Oak Point Park in Plano, the entire event route is paved and accessible for wheelchairs, strollers, bikes, etc. UTSW employees, family members, and friends can participate in the UTSW Take Steps team at no cost.
