Dr. Rashmee Shah is a cardiologist who builds. She writes code, ships health products, and works at the intersection of clinical medicine and engineering. In 2021, she left a tenured academic track at the University of Utah to join Meta as a Clinical Research Scientist on their first health technology team. There, she partners with engineers to develop regulated AI software for cardiovascular health, including scalable data collection and labeling pipelines for model research and development. Hertz, Ph.D., FAAAS, HFACHE, Director Emeritus, Baldrige Performance Excellence Program, National Institute of Standards and Technology. Dr. Hertz has been with the National Institute of Standards and Technology since 1973, originally as a research chemist and, later in a series of management positions including Director of the Chemical Science and Technology Laboratory. He served as the Director of the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program from 1995-2013. He now serves as the Program’s Director Emeritus, in a consulting capacity.
