Admissions criteria for the Sports Physical Therapy Residency Program in the School of Health Professions at UT Southwestern.

The Prosthetics-Orthotics Residency Program curriculum takes a structured, comprehensive approach to advanced prosthetics and orthotics training.

There is no tuition fee or cost for the Prosthetics-Orthotics Residency Program. Residents are employees of UT Southwestern.

Going beyond academic programming, the School of Health Professions offers additional training opportunities for individuals at various skill levels.

Our Sports Physical Therapy Residency Program is ideal for licensed physical therapists who are motivated to achieve a higher level of training and expertise.

UTSW's Prosthetics-Orthotics Program has designed the lectures and exercises of the Review Course to be self-paced and easily completed in a few sessions.

The Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Physical Therapy Residency Program occurs over a 12-month employment period beginning the first Monday in August. The structure includes approximately 28 hours of clinical service per week at Clements University Hospital under the supervision of clinical mentors with an additional four hours reserved for collaborative patient care with a member of the residency faculty. Additionally, formal didactic content is delivered both via self-paced online training as well as through instructor led classroom training.

If you are accepted to the Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Physical Therapy Residency Program you will be considered a full-time employee of UT Southwestern for a 1-year contract and receive a salary commensurate with all first year residents.
