Part of the Department’s three-fold mission is the acquisition of new knowledge in developmental biology and pediatric care through research by pursuing unanswered questions and continuing to test and refine previously established ideas. One of our divisions, Pulmonary and Vascular Biology, is an exclusively research-driven division, and many faculty in other divisions direct active research programs or engage in collaborative projects closely aligned with their clinical interests.
Detailed information about our state-of-the-art research can be found on the pages of each of our divisions.
