On May 11, 2023, UT Southwestern Medical School honored 221 graduates at their commencement ceremony in the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center. It was a day of celebrating their accomplishments and reminiscing on their medical school memories. These new physicians and physician-scientists now enter their next chapter as residents, where they will continue their medical training.

Of the 220 students who matched in the Class of 2023, 56 will complete residencies at UTSW, 105 will train in Texas, while the rest disperse to top institutions across the country.
