Community Recruitment Initiatives

UT Southwestern Medical Center is a mosaic of talented employees from diverse backgrounds. The mission of the Community Recruitment Initiatives division is to foster an environment where all employees are valued for their uniqueness and individuality and know that their efforts contribute to the continued success of UT Southwestern.

In particular, this division is charged with making sure that minority job seekers are aware of the myriad of available career options and that they know how to access these career opportunities.

Particular focus is placed on increasing the numbers of minorities in leadership positions. In addition to working towards attracting these candidates, efforts are made to prepare minority employees to assume leadership roles through a mentoring program.
