Compliance

The mission of the Office of Compliance is to promote ethical conduct and compliance awareness throughout the health care, academic, and research operations of UT Southwestern Medical Center.

The compliance program provides education, training, and guidance to all faculty and staff and fosters adherence to federal and state laws, regulations, and standards; the Rules and Regulations of the Board of Regents of the UT System; and the policies and standards of conduct of UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Through the core values of collaboration, knowledge, problem-solving, accountability, and consistency, the Office of Compliance provides a framework to ensure activities and decisions supporting the institution’s mission are conducted with integrity and in accordance with the law.

Reporting Concerns

UT Southwestern Medical Center maintains several methods by which an individual may report concerns about conduct or suspected non-compliance.

All reports are confidential and may be made anonymously. Individuals providing good-faith reports of compliance concerns and information regarding possible illegal activities in the workplace are protected from retaliation and retribution. If you have questions or concerns about compliance on campus, please call 214-648-6024 or compliance@utsouthwestern.edu.
