Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, Geriatrician

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Geriatric Medicine, is seeking a geriatrician to help establish and grow a newly created inpatient geriatrics consult service and provide high-quality patient care at our outpatient clinic. Successful applicants must provide evidence of outstanding teaching and clinical skills. Applicants must have an M.D. degree or equivalent from an approved LCME medical school, board certification in internal medicine and satisfactory completion of a residency program from an ACGME accredited program, and satisfactory completion of a Geriatric Medicine fellowship program. Candidates must be eligible for Texas medical licensure and be board certified in Internal Medicine. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule. Duties include providing inpatient geriatric consults, patient care at our outpatient clinic, and teaching/training of medical students, residents, and fellows.
