New job opportunities become available each year as the Advanced Imaging Center continues to grow. New Faculty positions open to fill niches in developing research areas and new technical support staff are needed to support expanding research efforts. A number of positions for Graduate Research Assistants also become available every year.
Our Faculty specialize in a wide variety of disciplines: engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, and neuroscience.
Our Postdoctoral program seeks highly motivated individuals with similar scientific backgrounds. Potential candidates will work with AIRC investigators to develop novel imaging technologies for biological and medical applications. Possible projects include the development of new MRI contrast agents for assessment of tissue physiology, performing experiments to increase understanding of metabolic pathways in humans and in animal models, non-invasive imaging of biophysical and biochemical parameters in living subjects, and establishing biomarkers that are useful for diagnosis and treatment of disease processes.
