University Police

The UT Southwestern Medical Center Police Department employs both commissioned and non-commissioned personnel who are available around the clock to serve the community. Our commissioned personnel are peace officers and are certified by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education (TCLEOSE).

Our offices are located on the C level of the Paul M. Bass Center Tower II (suite BLC.200), on the North campus. The public entrance is located adjacent to the C level (west) entrance to the Bass Parking Garage. The entrance is next to the fountain sculpture, and it says "POLICE" above the double glass doors. Hours of Operation

The University Police Department's Patrol and Communications Office operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including weekends and holidays. The department's administrative office is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The administrative office is closed on holidays.
