Career Development Program

The program helps employees perform better in their current positions and gain skills to qualify for promotional opportunities. Offerings include individual career counseling, career planning, and job search strategies.

Employee Assistance Program

UT Southwestern’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is designed to assist employees who may be dealing with personal problems that affect their relationships at home and at work. The EAP provides a limited number of private, confidential counseling sessions with professional staff (Master’s and above) for employees and eligible family members.

Employee Discount Program

Faculty, staff, and students are eligible to receive discounts provided by local and national vendors. Cellular service, entertainment, health and wellness, lodging, merchandise, service and food vendors are currently taking part.

Employee Wellness Program

The Wellness Program is designed to enhance personal well-being and work/life balance. The goal is to enable employees, retirees, and dependents to take charge of their health and develop their own personal wellness program by providing a variety of programs, tools, and resources including a weight management program, health fairs, and cooking demonstrations.

On My Own Time Art Competition

The annual show, designed to showcase the talents of members of the UT Southwestern community, is part of a regional effort conducted by North Texas Business for Culture and the Arts.

Tuition Assistance Benefit Program

Full-time employees who have completed 12 months of employment with UT Southwestern and are in good standing are eligible for $2,000 in tuition reimbursement for courses taken from a regionally-accredited college or university.
