SWAT Educational Symposium

Please mark your calendars for the 5th Annual Education Week/Southwestern Academy of Teachers (SWAT) Educational Symposium at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Scheduled for April 7–9, 2015, the Symposium will offer opportunities to participate in several faculty development sessions that focus on honing your skills as a teacher.

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians; therefore, you may receive a maximum of 7.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ for some of the activities on Wednesday and Thursday. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. This will be a dynamic 3-hour interactive session on the fundamentals of decision analysis, how to debrief with good judgment, and utilize the “inquiry with advocacy” methodology to lead learners towards self-awareness of how they make decisions.
