Cancer Biology students and postdoctoral students are strongly encouraged to submit abstracts by Wednesday, April 1. Top abstracts will be selected for oral presentations and for travel awards (two students/two postdoctoral students).

Second Annual Prostate Cancer Symposium
Held on Monday, November 17, this research symposium and poster session was entitled ‘Targeting lethal disease’ and focused on new areas of prostate cancer research and therapeutic strategies.
Natasha Kyprianou, M.D., Ph.D., Professor and James F. Hardymon Chair in Urology Research at the Markey Cancer Center, University of Kentucky. Her presentation was entitled, “AR as a driver of resistance to taxane chemotherapy in prostate cancer.” (Video)
Christopher J. Logothetis, M.D., Professor and Chair of Genitourinary Medical Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His presentation was entitled, "Transitioning from a prognostic to a predictive model of therapy allocation." (Video)
