The Public Psychiatry Fellowship program offers advanced training for you to develop the knowledge, skills, clinical judgment, and attitudes essential to the practice of public psychiatry.
Clinical experience, along with managerial, administrative, and research experiences, will prepare you to:
- Establish strong therapeutic alliances with consumers of services.
- Formulate systems-based analyses of a variety of clinical problems.
- Effectively use managerial skills to resolve program-level incongruities to improve patient care with efficient resource utilization.
- Advance the field’s empirical evidence base, policies, or general practice.
