Pricing

NMF services are available on a fee-for-service basis using a cost recovery model based on direct procedure-related costs. These costs include time to perform the procedure, replacement of consumable supplies, and equipment usage and maintenance. There are no charges for initial consultation and general project discussion. Additional fees may apply for specific requests, especially those requiring significant time commitment by NMF staff.

Services are available to investigators from any academic institution or commercial enterprise, though priority for space and time will be given to investigators with primary academic appointments at UT Southwestern. 

The NMF is not an “open-access” facility for use by non-NMF staff, except by special permission and with appropriate training. The NMF is administratively part of the UT Southwestern Department of Neurology and Neurotherapeutics.

Per the cost recovery model, pricing varies based on the components of each service. Please contact us to discuss the pricing schedule for your specific project. New users and preliminary data projects may be eligible for cost credits.
