South Campus Options

Visitor Parking 

A parking facility for visitors is located adjacent to the faculty garage. The visitors lot (Lot # 7) includes a cashier information booth. The first 20 minutes are free. After 20 minutes, the rate is $2 for up to one hour; $3 for one to three hours; and $5 for more than three hours.

James W. Aston Ambulatory Care Center Patient Parking

Hours of operation for patient parking are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday–Friday. Patients have two options for parking.

Patients who have an appointment in the Aston Building receive free parking in the new Tower Garage, across from Parkland Hospital. The Aston Shuttle (Blue Line) is also free and transports patients from the breezeway on the first floor of the garage to the Aston Building and back, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. The shuttle driver will issue a voucher for complimentary parking; the voucher must be validated by the clinic for free parking upon exit from the garage.

Parking at the Aston Center circular drive is valet only. The valet parking rate is $5.00 for patients with a clinic validation stamp and $25.00 for non-patients. Patients who need assistance loading or unloading are encouraged to use the Aston valet service.

Valet Coupon Books

Patients may purchase a valet discount coupon book at the cashier's station at the Aston, Seay, St. Paul University Hospital, and Zale Lipshy University Hospital valet locations. Each book contains five coupons and costs $20.00 per book. That is a $1.00 savings each visit.

West Campus Options

St. Paul University Hospital

Patient parking is provided in front of the hospital (East Parking Lot) and in the Physician Office Buildings (POB) garage at the rate of $3. Valet parking is available for $5 at the Record Crossing entrance, under the awning adjacent to the POB garage.

Other Options

Visitors are also allowed to self-park in the following locations: Southwestern Health Professions garage, Bass Center visitor parking lot, Pickens Biomedical Building garage, and the Professional Office Building 1 (Bldg  Code POB1) garage. Prices vary.

Valet services are also offered at the following locations: Zale Lipshy University Hospital (Bldg Code ZL), Professional Office Building 1 (POB1), Seay Building (NC), Moncrief Radiation Oncology Building (NF), Clements Imaging Building (NE), and Outpatient Building (WA).

Open Parking

Parking is allowed in all parking areas except patient parking on weekends, holidays (does NOT include skeleton crew holidays), and on business day evenings and nights for the period after 5 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following weekday morning.
