Annual Enrollment 

Annual Enrollment for the UT System benefits program begins Monday, July 15, and ends at midnight Wednesday, July 31. During this period, employees and retirees who are eligible for benefits may make changes to their group insurance benefit elections as well as add, update, or remove their dependents from coverage.

In addition, employees who participate in either the UT Flex Medical or Day Care reimbursement programs must re-enroll for continued benefit participation. All insurance and UT Flex enrollment requests must be received by midnight July 31, 2013, to be effective on September 1, 2013.

If Evidence of Insurability (EOI) is required for insurance elections, you may access the electronic EOI form available on My UT Benefits. If completing the EOI form on paper, the completed EOI form must be postmarked by August 15 and sent directly to Dearborn National. 

Annual Enrollment Tips

  • Visit the UT System Office of Employee (OEB) website for more comprehensive information regarding plan changes.
  • Read the UT System Annual Enrollment newsletter.
  • Attend the UT Southwestern Benefit Fair and one of the Annual Enrollment group benefits presentations.
  • Review or Change benefits at My UT Benefits. The online benefits enrollment system is available 24/7 from July 15 to midnight July 31.
