Barriers going up at closed interior walkway through former Parkland

Physical barriers are going up to prevent people from entering or exiting the interior walkway through the former Parkland Memorial Hospital. The walkway closed in July and is no longer safe.

The walkway, which connects the Aston and Danciger buildings with the Charles Sprague Building and Zale Lipshy Pavilion on the South Campus, is part of the demolition of the old hospital.

Faculty, learners, and staff who need to access buildings near the old hospital can walk around the exterior of the buildings or take a shuttle bus to their destination.
