We can determine which words that comprise our professional vocabulary are the ones best able to transform our verbal expressions into complementary actions. We can allow these words to speak for us by way of the positive, willing attitudes we convey. Although research tells us that it is not the actual words we use that help us make our points, bridge gaps, and/or convey honesty and integrity, we now know it is the way in which we utter those words and the body language that accompanies it that speak the loudest.
