Pre-doctoral Fellowships in Clinical and Translational Research
The Pre-doctoral Fellowship in Clinical and Translational Research provides a stipend and partial tuition support for up to 1 year of multidisciplinary clinical and translational research training. The program is open to:
- Doctoral students who have passed the qualifying exams in their field
- M.D./Ph.D. students who have completed at least two years of medical school
- Medical students who have completed at least three years of medical school and want to spend one year (between the third and fourth year of medical school) conducting mentored clinical or translational research (UT Southwestern students and Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellow applicants are eligible to apply)
Throughout the TL1 program, junior investigators will engage in coursework and research under the oversight of their mentors and the Director of the CTSI Education Core.
