Plastic surgeons name Kenkel vice president

Dr.  Jeffrey Kenkel, professor and vice chairman of plastic surgery, has been named vice president of the 2,400-member American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) at its annual convention in Las Vegas. Dr. Kenkel is associate editor of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal and editor of Selected Readings in Plastic Surgery. He currently serves on the board of the Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation and chairs the society’s education commission as well as a number of committees. Dr. Kenkel, who holds the Rod J. Rohrich, M.D., Distinguished Professorship in Wound Healing and Plastic Surgery, is director of the Clinical Center for Cosmetic Laser Treatment and chief of plastic surgery at the Dallas Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
