The Bryan Williams, M.D. Student Center houses 43,000 square feet of fitness and recreation activities, and serves as a place where members can gather, interact, learn, and enjoy a sense of community. Open to members more than 100 hours each week, the facility is supervised by approximately 75 student staff members.
The Student Center is an award-winning, state-of-the art facility that includes a weight and fitness room, cardio lounge, group fitness/yoga multipurpose room, indoor suspended track, racquetball court, lounge areas, and a gymnasium.
The gymnasium has two basketball courts that can also be used for volleyball. Adjacent to the racquetball court and locker rooms is the Meadows Lounge, which offers two pool tables, two table tennis tables, and foosball, as well as an area for relaxing or studying.
A split-level weight room provides diverse cross-training. The lower level offers cardiovascular endurance training, which includes Woodway and LifeFitness treadmills, LifeFitness recumbent and upright bikes, and Precor Crosstrainers. The area is also equipped with a wireless exercise entertainment system. The upper level offers strength development, with an assortment of free weights and plate-loaded and Selectorized Cybex machines. There are also cardiovascular machines located in the Cardio Lounge on the track upstairs.
