UT Southwestern Medical Center maintains a long-standing commitment to excellence, dedication to discovery, and service to the community. This environment will foster a unique experience for the administrative fellow to gain exclusive opportunities to grow professionally within one of the country's leading academic medical centers.

UT Southwestern's University Hospital and UT Southwestern Ambulatory Operations Administrative Fellowship Program is a postgraduate fellowship that nurtures the development of exceptional individuals dedicated to careers in health care administration. Under the direction and guidance of the UT Southwestern University Hospital and Ambulatory Leadership team, the fellow will gain excellent career experiences in leading-edge areas of health care management.

Opportunities for professional growth will center upon a broad variety of administrative rotations geared toward experience in clinical, nonclinical, operational, and strategic management training and initiatives within the hospital and ambulatory setting. The UT Southwestern University Hospital Fellowship will span 24 months and the Ambulatory Administration Fellowship will span 12 months. Additional placement after completion of the Fellowship Program is dependent on the fellow's performance and the availability of positions within the organization.

UT Southwestern Ambulatory Administration Fellowship Program offers two administrative fellowship tracks: Operations and Finance/Revenue Cycle. They focus on ambulatory clinic operations through hands-on learning, as well as being actively involved in the ambulatory strategic initiatives projects.
