First job at UTSW: Working as Associate Director in the James W. Aston Ambulatory Care Center Administration.

Best part of my job: I like the many challenges that my position has given me over the years. I like changes, and I enjoy implementing new processes and solving problems.

How co-workers describe me: Dedicated and responsible. I am always here for the staff and our providers to help with whatever needs to be done.

Surprising fact: I love healthy cooking, and I’m an exercise fanatic. I also love spending time on the beach, especially in California and Florida.

Best memory: A career highlight was the challenge of transitioning everyone from paper to electronic records as part of the Epic EMR (electronic medical record) implementation. I also was very involved in the development of the PACT program, which is used campuswide with staff and physicians.
