First UTSW job: Working as a Data Entry Operator.

Best part of my job: I like that my job challenges me. No matter how many charts I review, each one tells a different story. The data I research plays an important role in the treatment and care of patients.

How co-workers describe me: Compassionate, kind, committed. Doing things for others brings me great joy.

Surprising fact: I have worked in the same department my entire UT Southwestern career. I met my husband in 1988, the same year I started working here. I volunteer at the DeSoto Food Pantry and serve in the nursery at my church.

Final note: All of my officemates have given me great memories to last a lifetime – some funny, some sad, and some in between. I will cherish those memories forever.
