First UTSW job: When I started here in 1988, I worked as a Library Assistant.

Best part of my job: It incorporates both problem-solving and creativity.

How co-workers describe me: Dependable and flexible. They also see me as open to new ideas.

Surprising fact: I prefer eating pizza with a fork, but I have no idea why.

Unusual memory: One that stands out is attending a lecture by Stephen Hawking at UT Southwestern many years ago. (Editor’s note: Dr. Hawking visited UT Southwestern in November 1998 as a guest lecturer on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS.)
