On June 10, UT Southwestern President Daniel K. Podolsky, M.D., hosted a luncheon to honor employees with 50, 45, 40, 35, and 30 years of service and to welcome new members of the Quarter Century Club as part of the annual Employee Recognition Program. Keynote speaker Shawna Nesbitt, M.D., M.S., Professor of Internal Medicine and UTSW Vice President and Chief Institutional Opportunity Officer, talked about the immense changes at the Medical Center over the 25 years of her tenure and the unique opportunities of working at UTSW. After the speech, honorees walked up to the front as their names were called to have photos taken with Dr. Podolsky and received gifts in honor of their service.

Dr. Nesbitt holds the John C. Vanatta, III Professorship.

Dr. Podolsky holds the Philip O’Bryan Montgomery, Jr., M.D. Distinguished Presidential Chair in Academic Administration, and the Charles Cameron Sprague Distinguished Chair in Biomedical Science.
