Funniest UTSW memory: One of the funniest moments happened during the transition of the Esoteric labs in the Department of Pathology to Veripath Labs. As part of our Lab Week festivities, we created our own reality show called “Veripath Idol.” Faculty and leadership fully committed to the fun by serving as judges, channeling Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, and Paula Abdul. They were absolutely hilarious. We laughed nonstop, truly enjoyed the moment together, and made memories I’ll always cherish. Being crowned Veripath Idol was the icing on the cake – and a moment I’ll never forget!
