Best part about my job: Being at the Transfer Center, there is problem-solving every day. You’re constantly figuring out the best placement, bed availability, or specialty service, which keeps the job interesting. Efficient transfers help hospitals manage capacity and ensure critical patients get the care they need. With over 35 years of ICU background, it feels meaningful because I’m able to help on critical timely transfers.
