Best UTSW memory: One of my favorite memories is the Epic conversion on Sept. 29, 2012 – which also happened to be my birthday. It was a huge project, and despite the complexity, we didn’t lose any patients or data. My team surprised me with a huge birthday cake in the middle of all the chaos. It was a busy and long day, but that moment made it unforgettable.
