Best part about my job: I’ve always wanted to work in healthcare, and while I originally imagined being on the clinical side, I’m grateful that my path led me to the academic environment. It’s given me the chance to support both students and the patients they will ultimately serve. Over my 25 years in the School of Health Professions across three departments, each team has truly felt like a second family. Coming to work has always been something I looked forward to because of the supportive environment and strong relationships. I’ve been fortunate to work well with every supervisor and co-worker, many of whom have become lifelong friends.
