Deborah Noble: 35 years

Employee Recognition 35 years, Deborah Noble, Manager, Clinical Research, Department of Plastic Surgery

First UTSW job: My first job at UTSW was as a Research Technician III in the Department of Plastic Surgery.

Best part about my job: I like that I get to be involved with clinical and preclinical research instead of having a position where I only work in one of these areas. I also really enjoy interacting with medical students and helping them get set to be successful in research projects.

How co-workers describe me: They might say that I am patient and calm in the midst of difficult circumstances.

Best UTSW memory: My favorite memories are the Plastic Surgery research group’s team-building outings at the State Fair of Texas. We always had international research fellows in our lab whom we took to the fair, and their reactions to everything at the fair were memorable.

My proudest UTSW accomplishment: I am so glad that I stayed in the Department of Plastic Surgery the whole time I have been here. I have worked with so many wonderful faculty, staff, fellows, residents, and students in my department over the years.

Hobbies: I like to read, paint, and cook. But most of all, I like to spend time with my kids and grandkids.
