Dr. Alex Koyfman, Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine, has been named one of the “45 Under 45 Influencers in Emergency Medicine” by the Emergency Medicine Residents' Association (EMRA).

As EMRA celebrated its 45-year anniversary, it announced it was honoring 45 outstanding young emergency medicine physicians whose “contributions embody the spirit of the specialty.” Dr. Koyfman was one of those selected from more than 400 applicants.

“Emergency medicine is the future of medicine, and that future is now,” Dr. Koyfman said. “While my contributions have included published research, it all comes back to high-level clinical care, patient advocacy, and educating and developing the next generation of emergency physicians.”
