The UT Southwestern Medical Group at Lewisville – Urology has been named a Rezūm Center of Excellence by Boston Scientific Corp.

The designation recognizes the group’s high degree of experience with Rezūm Water Vapor Therapy, a minimally invasive in-office procedure to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), or enlarged prostate.

“I’ve treated over 400 men, and over 90 percent of them are totally satisfied,” said Dr. Kenneth Goldberg, Assistant Professor of Urology and the Group’s Rezūm therapy specialist. “I have also been published in the Journal of Urology, the largest published study on Rezūm.”

Rezūm therapy is currently being used in leading urology practices throughout the United States, successfully treating more than 55,000 patients around the world.
