Gold Humanism Honor Society inducts 42 new members
The Arnold P. Gold Foundation Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS) recently inducted 34 Medical School student members, four faculty members, and four residents into the ranks of its UT Southwestern Medical Center chapter. The pinning ceremony for the Class of 2027 was held March 18 at the A.W. Harris Faculty-Alumni Center. For 2025-2026, Abigail Clark and Mohammed Khan served as Gamma Chapter co-Presidents.
GHHS is a community of medical students, physicians, and other leaders who have been recognized for their compassionate care.
Keynote speaker for the event was Kareem R. Abdelfattah, M.D., Adjunct Associate Professor of Surgery and Associate Chief Medical Officer at Parkland Health, who spoke on “Zen and the Art of Human Maintenance.”
