Celebrating UT Southwestern’s multicultural campus community

Clear skies and tasty lunch from food trucks made for a great afternoon at UT Southwestern’s Multicultural Celebration May 21 on West Campus.

UT Southwestern’s campus came together for a lively and colorful Multicultural Celebration this May, after two weather delays gave way to a perfect sunny afternoon. The lunchtime event drew dozens of employees outdoors to enjoy global flavors from food trucks, engaging activities, and a shared sense of community. Hosted by the Office for Institutional Opportunity, the celebration also spotlighted UT Southwestern’s Business Resource Groups (BRGs), which help foster connection, understanding, and a welcoming environment for all. The event offered a chance to explore the many cultural backgrounds represented across campus and to learn more about the groups that support personal and professional growth.
