As an observer of this anxiety, she wanted to assess it with the hope that what is learned can better support these patients and families. Her experience and involvement in this specialty have given her the opportunity to present at the local, national, and international level – the culmination of years of selfless service, passionate advocacy, commitment to excellence, and unwavering integrity.”

From her nominator: “Linda’s work spans continents, from helping nurses in China build an infrastructure for nursing research to providing primary care to over 1,500 villagers and their families on medical missions in Kenya. She also has a true passion for teaching and always makes time to help nurses grow. She stepped in and developed a curriculum for the Nurse Practice Transition Program in evidence-based practice. She has helped so many nurses learn and become passionate about research.”
