Don Katz, Alumnus of the Prosthetics-Orthotics Program
Don Katz is an alumnus of the Prosthetics-Orthotics Program and a leader in his field. For many years, Don has been at the forefront of research on the treatment of idiopathic scoliosis. Professionally, he has served as president of The American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists and sat on the board for nine years. Don lectures to students in the Prosthetics-Orthotics Program and mentors graduates during their orthotic residency. Currently, Don serves as Assistant Administrator at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, a world leader in the treatment of pediatric orthopedic conditions.
