Innovative web-based app eases screening for depression

One in six adults here in the U.S. will experience depression at some point in their lives. The vast majority will suffer alone. A team at UT Southwestern has come up with a novel way to get more patients diagnosed and treated. They developed an easy-to-use application that helps primary care, pediatric and specialty care providers screen for depression just as easily as they track temperature, blood pressure, and weight.
