Sieber Lab uses a combination of genetics, molecular biology, and system based approaches (metabolomics, proteomics, and transcriptomics) we investigate metabolic mechanisms that support reproduction and development in Drosophila and mammalian tissues.

Research Environment

The Sieber lab is committed to cultivating an open research community. We strive to freely share ideas in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Our main goal is to help young trainees (students, post-docs, etc.. ) develop the skills to identify important, understudied areas of biomedical research and develop highly productive research programs. We accomplish this by emphasizing individualized training in the lab so that each trainee gains the necessary skills and experience to drive their long-term career goals.
