INSTALLATION You can unzip the downloaded .zip file to any directory on your disk. There will be a single item: a folder called "DISECT". This folder may be moved anywhere on your hard drive, but the executable "DISECT.exe" must always be in this folder. For compatibility with other MBR software, I recommend that you place the NITPIC folder in C:\sedfit such that the path to the executable is C:\sedfit\DISECT\DISECT.exe. There is also a Documentation subdirectory under the NITPIC directory. It contains five items: (1) This DiSECT_README.txt file. (2) The documentation (DiSECT_100.pdf). (3) A primer for how to use DiSECT (DiSECTPrimer.pdf). BUGS Please report any bugs in NITPIC to chad.brautigam@utsouthwestern.edu.
