Heling Zhou, PhD, wins NanoHybrids Imaging Research Contest

Heling Zhou, PhD, a postdoctoral researcher in the Mason Lab, has been selected the NanoHybrids Imaging Research Contest Winner for her proposal to address breast cancer brain metastases with targeted spherical gold nanoparticles (AuNPs).  NanoHybrids, an Austin-based nanotechnology company, will supply its top gold nanoparticles to assist Dr. Zhou in her research goals.  The company's gold nanoparticles are used in imaging, tumor targeting, lateral flow assays, microscopy, SERS, drug delivery research, sensors and several other high-technology applications within the fields of life science and materials science.
